I received so many recommendations to read Untamed by Glennon Doyle that I had to move it to top of my summer reading list. While, skimming through the book I landed on this quote from the book, it said “Only Love Out. No Fear In. No Fear Out. Only Love In. Only Love Out”.
I immediately needed elaboration – what did that quote exactly mean?
I went to the beginning of the chapter and this is what I learned: “It’s not the cruel criticism from folks who hate us that scares us away from our Knowing; it’s the quiet concern of those who love us”
Other peoples’ fear started pulling me away from my Knowing; causing me to lose my peace.
How do I get my Knowing back? Glennon Doyle went on to explain: You have to decide who you trust more someone you love or yourself? That answer seems like a no-brainer; ME! However, it was about Knowing the right question to ask myself to get me to that correct answer.
It is something I so needed to hear. As a woman, who has been making great decisions for me, for quite a while now, I still was constantly being questioned about my life decisions by people I trusted and loved the most. Let me tell you that will mess with you! But not anymore!
This book helped me reclaim my KNOWING! My TRUTH!
